    Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., is seeking a surgeon of exceptional caliber with high interest and early career successes in clinical, translational or basic research to devote up to 75 percent effort to research and academics. Position will include membership in one of the established research programs in Department of Surgery, which have laboratory space, core facilities, technical support and mentoring for advancing careers to achieve independence. These programs conduct research of international stature in physiology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics.

  • Breast Surgeon

    Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is conducting a search for a fulltime breast surgeon with academic interest to join our busy breast surgical practice. We have a dedicated breast surgery practice which is supported by a multidisciplinary team that encompasses all aspects of treatment for benign and malignant breast disease. Mayo Clinic provides comprehensive breast cancer screening, evaluation, education and treatment. Mayo Clinic physicians diagnose and treat more than 1,300 new patients with breast cancer each year.

    We extend this opportunity to a board-certified/board-eligible general surgeon who has completed fellowship training in breast surgical oncology. Successful candidates should possess an MD or MD, PhD, and possess excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching. The position includes participation in education efforts for the ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program, as well as training the breast surgical oncology fellow.
