    Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, a growing, 340-physician practice with a national and international patient base, seeks a highly qualifi ed individual to provide strategic direction, vision and leadership within the Department of Internal Medicine, as well as participate in our NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Qualifications for candidates include board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology, and ability to qualify for appointment as Professor of Medicine.

    Administrative, educational, research and patient care experience is required. Candidates with existing federal research support are preferred. Of key importance will be the incumbent’s ability to lead a Division of 14 full-time faculty members, six fellows and fi ve ARNPs, with a large clinical practice, including phase 1 clinical trials and unrelated stem cell transplants, as well as translational and cancer basic science research programs.
